Okay, a lot of people have noted me in the past about this so I figured it was about time I made my policies clear to a wider audience.

I have a FREE USAGE POLICY

I don't mind if you'd like to use my art for wallpapers, icons, reposting on your site or whatever. In fact go right ahead, I'm flattered!

I don't really understand why some artists are so strict with their fanart just to have all the glory to themselves. If I wanted to be like that I never would have posted my stuff publicly. Seriously, I drew it because I wanted to share it, and if you feel that you want to post it somewhere else I have absolutely no problem with that. I'm not someone who will leap down your throat and comdemn you to hell for not giving me the glory.

In fact I discovered some of my own personal favourite artists through art resposted on other sites.

Because you know what, when I draw fanart the characters are NOT MINE in the first place. This however does not apply to my own original characters so I'd prefer if they were left untouched, thankyou.

The art and concept may be my own work, but that's why I'll usually put that 'MT '06'' or whatever year it is in the corner. That's all the credit I need to be satisfied. You don't HAVE to give a link back to here, but it would be nice. I'm not too fussed either way.

Also, if the site happens to be in another language how can I possibly fault them for not asking me? They CAN'T even ask me because of language differences there. And if I say it's okay not to ask if it's another language, it's also only fair I do that with English speaking sites too.

So yes, I am very lenient in my distribution policies. The ONLY things I ask of you are: do NOT directly edit or claim it is YOUR work That's it!

By directly edit I mean using Photoshop or any other image editing program to RECOLOR or REDRAW anything. Cropping, resizing and texturising for icons however is fine by me.

And claiming it is your work ALSO includes TRACING!! PLEASE do not trace and repost work that was originally mine. That is an ULTIMATE pet peeve of mine and really, how are you progressing artistically if you trace?
